UP 2884 is a U30C. This unit was built by General Electric for the UP with builder number 39605 in August 1974. It was retired and traded into EMD in August 1986.

Visible on the left side is a third locomotive we can identify by number, SD45 936.

Both photographs were taken at the locomotive service tracks area in the locomotive mechanical area at Tennessee Yard. The view is looking northwest.

Bridge 25.6 is 609 feet long and 70 feet high. The train is eastbound, and it’s just a couple of miles east of Eureka, Missouri. The area is more infamous for being near Times Beach. The Missouri Pacific bridge in the background.
