That is a neat train.
The 2 cars in the train appear to be one of the troop sleepers rebuilt to a baggage car and a blue and white passenger car ( coach probably ).
Paul
Good eye, Paul. Maybe #450 or 451 of the “working express” ex-troop sleeper?
This would be a fun and achievable train to model: hard to top the interesting variety of a modernized 4-4-0 in front of a converted troop sleeper and a blue and white car bringing up the rear.
Chris,
It has to be either 450 or 451. The rest of the ex troop sleepers had exterior mounted boxcar doors, and the car pictured here clearly has an interior mounted door.
