The units are on Track 2, at the southeast corner of the service track area. In the distance, on the far side of the service shed, one can see the silver sand storage tower, elevator leg, covered unloading shed and air tank. On Track 2 the locomotive wash rack is to the east (right) of the photo. Out of frame to the west (left edge of photo) is the Kansas Avenue overpass.

This was shot in the mechanical department’s locomotive service tracks area at West Yard. Visible in this view are the locomotive sanding tower (left of the locomotives), the top of the bulk sand storage tank with elevator (right of the locomotives) and the corner of the shed for the repair in place track.
