The view is looking northeast. This is the west side of the diesel shop at Lindenwood Yard. In this afternoon photo the locomotive is sitting outside the open doors on Shop Track 4.
An interesting detail is the repaired handrail stanchion still in yellow chromate primer. It has been replaced due to damage from not unhooking the crossover chain from an adjoining locomotive before uncoupling.
