The Locomotive Stoker magazine advertisement is very interesting showing the various types of coal (Also oil) used on the Frisco. Also interesting that different coals were used in different regions. It shows that the different types of coal were used close to the areas where the coal was mined. Very logical, in that it would have saved transportation costs.
