The 4216 is clearly on the stored unserviceable track as she is bereft of some of her “jewelry”. Missing are the bell, builder’s plate, and several of the numbers from the number plate. As late as Feb 10, 1953, sisters 4200, 4201, 4203, 4208, 4210, 4212, 4215, 4218, and 4219 were still on the Frisco’s “active” roster, even though they were never recalled to duty. The cessation of hostilities in Korea during July 1953, sent these remaining 4200’s to the scrap line.
