If this is 1965, then the southbound passenger train would be The Sunnyland, 107. Between KC and Memphis, The Sunnyland was powered by a single E-Unit. The Sunnyland’s and The KC-FS’s successor, The Southland always had two E-units. I am inclined to believe that the train depicted is 101, and the date is post Sept 1965.
There is one other thing to note. In the image, the East main is no longer in place. It was retired during the summer of 1965. This lends further credence to my opinion that this is train 101 and not 107.
