FP7 40 Sapulpa, OK (date unknown).
This train is headed toward Oklahoma City on the Oklahoma Sub passing the depot at Sapulpa. If you look above the 2nd car you will see the double headed mast that gave signal indications as to how the crossovers were lined for the double main between Oma & Sapulpa. Looking at the power and first cars behind the engines I would guess this to be train 537. If I remember correctly the Santa Fe required dynamic braking on train QLA and these are not equipped. Power on train QSF turned at Floydada. The building to the right is the depot. Also, if you look closely you can see the main line to Irving.
Special thanks to Karl Brand, Terry Jankowski and Jerome Lutzenberger.
