According to Karl Brand
This is the 1550, a 24-seat diner, 18 seat lounge. The car originally had a “bullet-nose” end, and it was rebuilt with a square end during Nov 1960.
I believe that the first image was taken at Springfield, and the second image was taken at Monett.
