There is {was} a very useful web site I relied upon for passenger train consists. However, I have recently been unable to connect, which makes me think it has either lost its host or has moved. Here's the site address. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/passconsist/files/ Does anyone know whether it now is hosted elsewhere, or has it been lost to us? Thanx! GS
Greg--When I followed that group (haven't been there for a while), Gordon Mott posted frequently. He also visits here so he might be a good lead to its whereabouts. Tom G. PS/Edit: Gordon has communicated with Don Wirth (he bought some locomotives) So that might be another step in tracking down the website.
I checked wayback machine but it had never been archived there that I could find. I assume because it was a yahoo group.
Yahoo groups is no more, and parts of the yahoo passconsist group were transferred to groups.io in 2019. I transferred as much Frisco material as was readily apparent in the search function, and have the entire Yahoo group backed up with a third party program, pending efforts to transfer more consists. The passconsist group on yahoo suffered from a deceased group owner and an absent or deceased moderator, so for a number of years it was impossible to add new members. For those interested in passenger train consists, Frisco or otherwise, you might wish to consider joining the groups.io passconsist group by sending a request to passconsist+subscribe@groups.io Bill Pollard
