At least until the 1930 abandonment, it looks like Campbell did have a depot. Station # TD215 of the Leachville Subdivision's Campbell Branch. Campbell, by the early 1960s was a joint Frisco and St. Louis Southwestern (SLSW) aka Cotton Belt operation operated by Frisco employees out of the Cotton Belt depot. I worked that job as a relief agent telegrapher in 1966 and 1967. You can find a photograph of the depot in Missouri Depots. Winston

Winston, I am really curious about this, do you remember why the Campbell branch held on until the early 1970s?
I dropped a note to one of my father’s Frisco colleagues, and it is his recollection that there was sufficient outbound beans and wheat traffic and inbound lumber yard business to justify service to Campbell, MO.
