Starting this thread to collect images and information regarding Pre-1920 wood boxcars. Was looking for information to see if a recent model could be represented in a Frisco scheme, but could not find much information. This thread will represent notes, hopefully for a future historical or modeling article. Thanks to all who might add information

Robert, nice work, I really like the old items that show manual labor. Even though I don't like doing it. Ha Ha. It is really amazing to see some of the things accomplished. I've been thinking about the passing of George H. W. Bush and thinking how grateful we should be for the sacrifices our past generations have made. As probably all of us have. Thanks for the post. Bill
A number of wood boxcars from the Frisco Lines appear in this photo of the Kansas City West Bottoms (1932) https://pendergastkc.org/collection/9130/20003568/west-bottoms-kersey-coates-drive/30274 Description: https://pendergastkc.org/collection/9130/20003568/west-bottoms-kersey-coates-drive Kansas City Public Library.
I wonder if an Accurail 1800 series would work for those cars? I can't tell how close the roof is... EDIT: I've looked through the Frisco Freightcar book on this site, but there are no 36' boxcars listed (or I missed them). I know I've seen sawtooth boxcars, too, but I can't find info about them, either.
Are those grain doors in the boxcars? I can't really tell. My screen isn't big enough, and my eyes are too weak.
Looks like a USRA Double Sheath car: http://steamerafreightcars.com/gallery/boxauto/slsf128209main.html Accurail #4615 should get you close:
13000 series boxcar, listed in the 1943 ORER shows the Frisco having 298 of them. A partial photo of one is shown in a photo I posted under the Ft Leonard Wood section. Brad Slone
