Like ’em or not, good or bad the RS-2 looked a lot better before they were EMDized .

Nice! Good pics of the Frisco RS-2’s before they were repowered are somewhat rare.
I would have loved to see, and hear, one of these back in the day. While I was working at our plant in Sauget, Illinois, the Alton & Southern used to switch us with RS-2’s (maybe RS-3’s). I liked the way they looked and loved the Alco sound!
