I’m very intrigued by the Frisco boxcar just behind the tender. I started thinking it was a USRA Double-Sheathed boxcar, perhaps a rebuilt model, but the door appears to be out of the ordinary. So at this point, I haven’t the foggiest.
I’m pretty sure it’s a standard unrebuilt USRA wood boxcar. The door has a top runner and a steel horizontal belt rail. The other stuff looks to be shadows or dark wood coloration.

The angle is bad, but my guess is some kind of lug door on that first boxcar.
I don’t see evidence of ice hatches, so it isn’t a refrigerated car. Perhaps it is an insulated car?
